NOW IS THE TIME: Environmental Groups Join to Outline Agenda for Hudson's Future

On Wednesday, June 10, Scenic Hudson President Ned Sullivan joined leaders of Hudson River Sloop Clearwater and Riverkeeper at a riverfront news conference in Poughkeepsie to announce goals for the Hudson Valley in the coming decade.

As the Quadricentennial Flotilla journeyed upriver, attracting unprecedented crowds to the Hudson River's shores, the three leading environmental organizations in the region released a list of ten goals that will promote sustainability for the river, the region and the economy. "Together, " Sullivan explained, "we can leave a Quadricentennial legacy worthy of its own celebration 100 years from now."
